Agreed, Lake Wazee probably isn't the best kiting lake, but its great for cliff jumping, swimming, and enjoying the sun. For anyone on campus, I'm going to try and get a kite session in after my final which ends around 1230pm today, let me know if you want to join.

This weekend looks light so I'll be summarizing the winch if anyone wants to mess around on a wakeboard. Brady and I will be building a rail or something fun, let me know. Ps; slingshot wakeboards are crazy awesome to press out in 3ft of water being pulled by a winch. I have an 09 recoil for anyone who wants to try it. My buddy nick will be bring up the 2010 line early next week, so if you want to winch or get a boat set in let me know!

Whats up UofM kiters!! I have been in between MPLS and Milwaukee, job searching, kiting, wakeboarding, for the past few weeks. I have met a bunch of individuals interested in the club, I think an organized gathering is necessary in the near future. Any suggestions? Milly gathering, Lake Michigan, I'm even thinking outer banks, Tampa, BVI's.. I have some buddies down there. Let me know what you think!? Eventually we could get school to pay for trips like these.

FYI: Any UofM Kiter gets proformed on slingshot kites, let me know if you need gear.

Sign me up as I am a grad student at the U of MN. I hope to be done in a few months, but I said that over a year ago too, so who knows!

I would be interested in proforms too.

Let me know where I sign up or the next step.

Rock on

Whats up all! Unfortunately I live in Milwaukee now but that doesn't mean UofM kiteboarding can't become legit. I will be going to Hatteras Oct 8 to 14ish with some kiters from around the Midwest. I was thinking about driving from Madison, stopping at Wake Nation cable park for a few hours on the way out, and getting to Hatteras on saturday. We are renting a house that sleeps 7+ people and will be riding as much as possible, if there is a crew that wants to go, i would bring the winch for more versatility. Have your classmates take notes for ya.... and come on an epic kite trip. let me know if your interested, boyl0101@gmail.com
