Did anyone get out on SPB? The wind really clocked easterly. The SA 19m is the light/no wind machine. Floaty jumps in 10mph. Had me powered up all afternoon. My 8 yr old son was cruising on a 5m Waroo, though.

This pic say it all about the SA 19. I'm sure this is an example of higher winds aloft, but they sure have the light air dialed.

what happened to the wind today? fighting to keep a 15 in the sky all day. Snow is bonding nicely on swede, if we get another 3-5 like forecasted it should be great conditions. Added note about swede, some of my local friends cleared off a hockey rink near access if anyone has children that are old enough to ice skate they are more then welcome to use it if the boys arent out playing hockey.

Hi Tom, cool pic. I'll have to see that one in action sometime. Six kiters on SPB. Light but good fun, wind was decent by the islands.

I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents on Swede this past Saturday. It was my first experience kiting and it was AWESOME, I'm officially hooked after 1 session. Sitting at work today all I can think about is floating along atop of the frozen lake. Even though the wind wasn't strong and a bit gusty at times, I still had a great time and can't wait till I can get out again.

Thanks to Travis W. aka Vis (I think that's his screen name) for getting me into this sport, and creating another addiction in me.
