Kiting Wednesday?

Post by jim lehman »

Is anyone heading out on Wednesday, I will be coming up from Rochester. Are skates still the preference or did the lakes get enough snow for skiis. I need someone to watch to set a good example of what to do. I will drive to any lake where there will be kiters.

Hope to see you Wednesday.

I was the only kiter out today on Calhoun. There is almost complete snowcover though it isn't bonded to the ice, hence it rides like glare ice. Skates are the best call. Skis sorta work if your edges are sharp. We need a few warm days.

There doesn't look like much wind for tomorrow.

Hope you get some.
