Yeah....it was Sunday afternoon, (July 9, 2023) on the Wisconsin side of Lake Pepin, wind
Blowing from the west at around 19ish with higher gusts.
I had just finished working on some plumbing projects with my 93 year dad, when he said, "You should go windsurfing!"
Yeah, OK,..... I've got a sail rigged and hanging from basement ceiling and formula board already has it's 50 cm "WEED" fin attached, Yeah, "The wind is calling and I must go!" (That's from a slogan on a T-shirt that a good friend gave to me). So, on a 6.3 Ezzy sail and the Formula Bic Techno (it's 94 cm wide), I took off!
Planning the whole time! It was very refreshing to get out on the water even if for only an hour. It's been a long time since I last windsurfed,
I think over two weeks since the last time.
