Windsters:
If you don't want to wait and see what Next weekend might bring for wind (maybe Sat. June30th) you might consider heading up (this Sunday, June24th)
to Duluth on Sunday for some nice, cool (56ish air temp) and 18 mph E-NE wind coming across the Mother of all Lakes. Shore-on-wind at Stoney pt. along the the North Shore drive.
Looks like about 18 miles (or so) from Duluth.
I've only sailed from the "TOT" lot just over the "lift" bridge East of downtown Duluth.
So, I'm considering heading up North (Northeast) to try out that Wave producing Reef!
Eric (Quetzalcoatl) out.
PS: LEAVE this low wind and thunderstorm stuff conditons and bring your thickest wetsuit (or dust off the dry-suit) and come sail where "Burley" sailors dare sail, (on the Mother of All Lakes).
Duluth, MN looks like the only place for wind this weekend..
