HAH! I got work off and I'm going WINDSURFING in 57 degrees in Southern Iowa next Monday, Dec. 18th in
20 mph wind,,gusting to 30! oops:::now forecast down to 19mph,,but gusts will make it seem windyish.
Just check weather channel...The 10 day forecast on "Google" and you'll see what I mean for Lake Rathbun, Iowa. (or Des Moines or Clear Lake). Check weather for town of Rathbun, Iowa.
Oh: Des Moines will be a balmy 55 deg. air temp with 19 mph base wind (winds 15 to 25). (Or, Lake Pepin which is still open{I think} will have West wind at 15 mph.), air temp. at 41 degrs.
Clear Lake, (I fear might be frozen) but a cool 43 degrees and stronger winds 15 to 25. But Des Moines and Lake Rathbun with temps in the 50's, Should I wear a shorty?
Clear Lake is best choice for less travel time and bit more wind,,,but I just love sailing in 50ish degree air temps.
Not to hot/not to cold. "Windsurfing on The Rise!" Hey, "It's still Fall ya know." Actually I'm getting better wind in
November and December, than I did in Sept./Oct.

Quetzalcoatl/Winsurf Man,,, out.
