Home remedy for pesky pump leash

Don't know what the rest of you do with your pump leash, but I find mine dangling off getting caught on everything constantly. It doesn't seem to have a good place to wrap up and hook on securely. With mittens on its even harder get it put away securely.

Here's a quick fix if you're looking for one. Drill a little hole in the base and push through a string with a loop on it. I just cut off the end of a scrapped kite line and tied a plastic washer under the bottom so it didn't pull through the hole.
