Kevin and Barry and I will arrive in the early afternoon. Take the Canal Park exit. Drive over the lift bridge and then go to 22nd ave.

Barry and I aren't in too much of a hurry due to work and when the good wind and waves will arrive so we'll probably hit the water closer to 2:30-3ish.

Wow Superior was rock solid windy. I had a memorable 3 hour session.

So cool to come over the hill by Spirit Mtn and see the Mother all lit up with the abundant sun and white water. Barry and I stopped at the tot lot to use the can and I went down to the beach and Randy J and others faces were grinning from ear to ear. We went down to 22nd where Dean and John were already done.

Hit the water at 3:45 and had a blast jumping with that steady wind and then ventured out to the big stuff. I felt a little sea sick for about the first 2 hours and at times the waves were coming a tad to much from the north. The last hour felt real dialed in and the waves had smoothed out a lot more. The last ride in I was 3/4 mile out and just kept riding from one wave to the next all the way to shore. What a treat!!

Great to see so many out riding up there today. See pictures of Judd getting warmed up on the inside stuff... The only problem with taking pictures up there from shore is that it doesn't nearly capture how big the waves are out beyond the shorebreak. Need someone to swim out there sometime....

Also a picture of the 10 day mrf from Monday when I first thought it could be good on Thursday. Note the high up in Canada moving to the east of Superior. That contrasts to the Low south and/or east of superior which is the other way superior blows good on a NE.

Such an amazing day on Superior. Thanks for the heads up Kevin!

I had four nice sessions coming in after each completely exhausted. We're so lucky to live so close to such an amazing spot! Hopefully this fall will be a good one for riding at Park Point.
