Anyone have any feedback on a 136 x 41?
I tried the approx same size in the cabrinha caliber and liked the pop and flex even in high winds. Did not like the high rocker pf the cab customs. Tried the lunacy 133x41 and thought it was way too stiff or short and killed my knees.
Misfits are about the same sizes, too. Looking for a good all- around board that can handle mid to high winds and can at least work when it drops to low teens.
You know, I just want it to do it all. That's all.

Re: Crazyfly Raptor Pro?
I tried the Raptor Pro & felt it needed too much wind for its size. Have you tried the Dimitri Pro?
I see alot of the advanced locals using that model, but I thought they were too short for me. I finally settled on a Best Spark 140, inexpensive, but it worked the "BEST" IMHO. I'm also impressed with the Underground series, especially the more recent wood core models. My all time favorite remains an old Hana Crew, but they're out of production. Maybe a trip to a kite Mecca, and try every board on the block...I'll pack my bags, you buy the tickets.

Jim -
Sure!
Drive on over to lake Michigan today and I'll buy the gas.
The only problem with kite places is that the conditions are always ideal- steady winds, flat water, warm. All the things we never experience. Thanks for the feedback. You tried Avery's?

Re: Crazyfly Raptor Pro?
TRIED IT? I bought it! It ended up being the high wind board in my set. The all-around board is now the Spark, & the only one I used on our spring trip to SPI, after I sold the Crazy Fly. I imagine it is dry suit weather on Michigan. Wish I could join you, let you try my sticks, and check out the wave action out there. Time to wax the skis. & sharpen the blades. See you soon.

Re: Crazyfly Raptor Pro?
I've got CrazyFly Raptor 137#43. I bought it this summer and this was my first summer of kiting on the water.
This is what i like about this board:
1. I found this board to be able to go very very fast.(first times when i switched from lf proof i thought it was super slippy.
2. it's very easy to jump with this board ))
3. It looks super sexy. white top&carbon bottom...
This is what i don't like:
1. I always felt like i needed little stronger wind..although for my weight (205 lbs) it wasn't my favorite board in light summer winds.
2. Compared to Dimitry boards that Sauluis and Maximiliano have i would say raptor weight more. like pound or may be two. If you have both boards in your hands you will notice the difference right away.
3. I don't like that bottom of my board is in black (carbon) color, so whenever i would lose my board while jumping, and if board would flip on the top side - it would make it hard to find while bodydragging - but that just my thought.
4. i didn't like the pads.. they just weren't comfortable for me(may be because of my feet size which is 11)) I replaced them with slingshot lenses pads&straps.
I have 7 boards on my hands right now)) and willing to sale at least half of them))
I've got recently lightwave wing 146 and i think i'm going to keep it and kitefish.
If you will be interesting in trying and may be buying it - let me know.
