I saw kayakers at Reddy on Friday. It looked like they were doing demos or something. I wish the article had more details on what happened. Having a wet suit, life jacket, and 4 people with you makes it appear to be a survivable situation but you just never know...............

We had dinner at Cataways after our session at Reddy on Friday. We notice a sherrif talking to a table of 4 men behind us. We figured out a kayaker was missing. We had a pitcher of beer left from our dinner. Thanks for the beer Mike K. !
I brought them over the pitcher and got a lot of the same info. as in the post prior. They did say a helicopter was going up with an infared camera. That might not have happened. They were quite bummed. My thoughts and prayers go out to those involved. It just goes to show you that we need to dress for the water temps. and a possible swim in and wear a helmet.
Always keep an extra eye out for others in distress... :(

Ugh. Thanks for the post. I searched this story over the weekend and didn't get any answers. The crew in the table near us looked solemn.

I knew Todd Ellison and his sister Lisa from high school. They were good kids, My thoughts are with them.
