Has anyone tried to kite on lake george in anoka mn?

The lake works well from E, SE, S, SW and W winds. From E, SE and S you launch your kite from the beach that is in the NW corner. Very busy on weekends, please be careful. From W, SW and S you launch from the other beach that is in the NE corner next to the boat launch. My favorite winds to kite on this lake are SW and W. Not too many spots around the north area where you can kite W and SW winds.
The lake is very shallow, but in summer a lot of weeds. Once you pass the weeds in the shallow area, you are fine and you are going to have a lot of fun.
