Important Info for the Kite Crossing

Post by Michael F »

Prepay registration ends Thursday at midnight. Registration and the welcome party will be at the Harbor Inn, half mile north of the Y-Club. Registration will open at 7:30 pm. The entrance to the event site is across from Garrison Sports.

Helmets are mandatory. Leash lines, properly attached to flag your kite, are also mandatory. Elbow pads are not required, but are highly recommended, especially if we have any marginal snow coverage. If you have any question with your equipment, we will have personnel ready to assist.

As in the past, free ride kiting is invited. If you are not registering for the BIG race, but might want to participate in other events, including using the terrain park, we offer a Freeride pass for $10. Fees collected will be split between subsidizing insurance and expenses associated to the terrain park.

The Garrison Inn is down to nine rooms, four with two beds.

Just talked to Terry, there is a nice blanket of snow on Mile lacs! looks to be around 4-6 inches... should make for some great racing conditons!

heading out Saturday morning.
