Waconia last Saturday - Thanks Cory M!

Post by pearcele »

This is a shout out of thanks to Cory M!

Great to see you out at Waconia last Saturday -- My kids (9 and 7) had a great time flying the 3M, and I really appreciated your sticking around and helping them have fun with it.
I had no idea you Kited and was great to see you out there.

I got a chance to tow the kids on the sled behind me and the 13M later, and they both had a blast!

The wind ultimately pulled even more North and got switchy (shadowed behind the point), so we finally packed up after 2pm.

It was a fun family time for all (even my wife is excited to give the trainer a try in the harness next time).

Drop me a line next time you are going out!

thx! LEO

Good to see you too Leo, especially outside of a work setting! I'm glad the wind continued to deliver. I headed out on Sunday for a couple hours later in the day too.

You have a great family and it is inspirational that they are all interested in kiting. I know how frustrating it can be learning as an adult so I can imagine how a 7 or 9 year old feels. But they seemed to be getting the hang of it. That trainer kite or yours sure flies fast!

I'll shoot you a note next time I head out. Feel free to do the same. See ya out there!
