I'll be there around 10 with my windsurf gear. Probably alternating sessions between Father Hennepin and Izaty's, depending on the angles. This is looking more like October wind with warm water. Pretty amazing. Certainly looks like full on Gorge style potential.

Screw it, I am in. Looks like epic conditions. I have never ridden there, so it should be interesting. From looking at the weather, I wonder if my 8m will be over powered! ha!

Randy L, do you need a mooch (I mean passenger) to help pay gas and car pool since you are in White Bear Lake area?
The catch is that I have to be back in the Cities by 6pm Friday, but cleared off the rest of the day. Just let me know michaelTnelson at yahoo DOT com (or if someone else in the WBL is headed up).

It's starting to blow already. Looks like an epic bus-sized rollers at FH. I'll be there around noon.

Thanks to all that rode and helped me out this past Fri.

WOW, that was epic and nutty sized waves.

A huge thanks to Randy L for driving up, Jen for going with too.
Thanks to Tighe for holding my harness down so I could get my board on without sending my kite into that scary Charlie Brown Kite Eating Tree near the launch.
Everyone that helped with a launch and land of my kite too.
A freaky start point with winds gusting to 42 mph, but a great time indeed.
I will wear a watch next time as I lost track of time and rode for 4.5 hours straight. oooo ya. My 8m Cab Switchblade 2 worked great again, but it was at the limits at times for sure.

Hope to see everyone again soon
