white bear on south wind

Hey guys, can white bear be sailed safely on a south wind? I am not an expert, but have knowledge enough to be safe. Also, which location would be best?

Rutherford is your safest bet for beginners or busy beach days at Ramsey.
Ramsey Beach is supposed to be closed to swimmers but it is often packed on hot days such as today. There is street parking for Rutherford on Park Ave. just off 96.
