I'd go to milly but there is a good chance of rain.. I don't trust driving that far to find wind and have the rain shut it off.. Local it will be!!! :D

dude you got your license, go to Waconia or Mille. SW is not really a great direction for WBL.

Where do people go on Wac on a SW? I'm used to WBL, but except for the narrow beach at Maht it's not too nice on a SW. Is Wac having water level issues, or is that just WBL?

the spot for Waconia is the DNR access on the NE corner. It's listed in the Lakes section. Don't expect the big mowed lawn that Ramsey has, but the launch has great shallows and typically clean winds in most directions other than East.

I'm leaning that way over Mille. We'll see how I feel in the AM.

Tomorrow I am going to be out of town, but for the people that live N, NW and NE of the cities and don't want to drive to Milly, you can't miss the DNR boat launch at "Lake George" in Andover... Super shallow for quite a distance, grass and beach area to set up your kite. I have been kiting there for 3 or 4 seasons and for me it is the best spot that I have found here in the north suburbs area. This lake can be used in spring and late fall. In summer there are a lot of weeds. For SW and W winds this lake rocks!

Wherever you go, just have fun.

I will miss it big time.

Waconia for me.
Well, actually, more like I cleared out my schedule, but my Milly buddies aren't up for the drive north. You know who you are.
Should be fun. Nice and sunny!
I'll go save 20 parking spots for all you guys who are at the swap.
