I got mildly excited when they had snow and 12mph winds on the news forecasted last night....until I realized they were talking about the Carolina football game: THERE.

There are actually big areas of the experimental graph that show no arrows at all. No wind direction if there ain't no wind.

I HAVE. Looking pretty good on X-Mas Day here AND in Green Bay. Might be an excuse to avoid some basement football + cream cheese roll-up snack action.

I'll see you at Hyland Tim!
I'm going to head over to REI and ask them if they have any of those cross country snowboards yet.

If you mean a splitboard by cross-country snowboard, nobody local has any. You can order it from some of their online stores but nobody has it in stock. 3B snowboards has a kite specific splitboard, Jeremy Jones has a new splitboard coming out next month and Prior and Never Summer make some good ones too...lots of options.

Also Spark R&D has a new binding for splitboards that is super nice--lots of improvements over the standard Voile kit. Hard to find cause it's too popular but worth the effort.

Brian,

One of my favorite videos of '09. My family members are big CC fans. I've tried to show them, all that they are missing. On a snowboard you are just more connected to MN................dude......

I'm working on my backside skoontch 360°.

Actually....., on the rope tow at Hyland last week I think a kid did a backside skoontch on my face

BB, Is that "OUR" Jeremy Jones? Jason's son? Making boards? I like the split board idea too. I suck at both skis & boards...then with a split, I could suck twice at once!

JRN, I don't think so! It's like THE Jeremy Jones--one of the best snowboarders ever. I'm not sure if that means he can make good boards or not.
