WBL ice thickness

Post by ScottOC »

Two days ago I drilled a hole in WBL. Over 7 inches of ice 200 yards offshore. Lots of ice fishermen way out driving ATVs and hauling fish houses. Should be good to go when the wind cooperates, but be prepared. take some ice picks and go with a buddy. See you on the lake!

I ice fished on fri nite the 18th and there is six inches of ice way out in the middle. Rode an ATV out there. Snow is a bit thin but is bonding with bare spots. we need snow. got about half inch today (sunday morn). xmas day is looking good.
