Ok, I'm having a lot of issues launching both of my C kites. I get into position easily enough. Kite downwind, leading edge in the water, lines nice and neat. Now all I need to do is get the darned thing to flip over and rise into the air. This is the part that has me stumped. Could be I'm going out in wind that is to light but I don't think so.
This is what I have been doing:
once in this position, I have been pulling in on the 5th line a bit and then pulling one of the O shit lines in a bit at the same time.
Am I completely screwing this up?
Please help, thanks

Re: launching a C Kite
Try pulling the 5th line more than a bit. Pull it in until the center strut is almost parallel to the ground. Then start pulling on your outside lines, as you slowly release your 5th line.
