You know its windy when you come back from Reddy to find your dock scattered on the shores of Pulaski - but hey Reddy was good even though it was a slow start, big kites to start with and it never seemed to gusty when it did pick up. Reddy seemed about 15 degree's cooler than Garison and the wind was up high. Fine on the 12m until the wind died around 5 and we all packed it in. Deb was the last one riding on her 8m Starkite as there wasnt enough wind down low to drift launch a 12.

You know it's really windy when....Sh!t happens and you end up spending the day at the ER with your wife (she's fine) while the wind goes off!

This was one of the most trying days of wind watching I can remember. Was all packed up last night and ready to go.. Oh well - glad you guys had fun - Cannon must have been one to remember!

WHEN @ NOON @ RAMSEY, you watch your meter jump from 12 to 50 mph in a millisecond. And "Reds" says it's "too crazy" for his 7 m. So you go home, crawl into the deepest recesses of the board rack, drag out your 100 ltr. sailboard, a 4.5 m sail, go back, & YOU'RE STILL OVERPOWERED!!! BTW: they say it blows this way every single day...ON THE SUN!
