Just a reminder, today is the last day for advanced registration and the $30 fee. It is also the last chance to order the hooded sweatshirt for an additional $8. You can access the Fleet 8 website and Paypal button at: http://fleet8.com/news/ A third of those already pre-registered will be doing the Kite Crossing for the first time which shows the continued growth of our sport.

Garrison Inn has less than a half dozen rooms left, but Twin Pines still has a good selection of both cabins and rooms. You can check out their list at: http://www.twinpinesmillelacs.com/rates.htm

We could also use some volunteer help for those so inclined. Kelly French is our volunteer coordinator and can be reached at klfrench4@aol.com. Those wanting to help with the terrain park development on Friday can also contact Kelly and she will relay your info to the coordinators.

Here's the artwork for the sweatshirt. Black will be the color of the shirt. Small logo on front of sweatshirt.

Scott had mentioned all you can eat crab legs @ the casino, but I don't know if they still have that. I'm ALWAYS up for a meal at Carlsona. For my fellow omni-vores, the Y-club had grill your own steaks,good burgers & pizza, too. I'll check Gand Casino's website....Yup, Seafood Buffet Fri & Sat. night @ $20.49...Hmmm, tummy full of crab on Fri, 25 mi. of Milly terrain on Sat.

mmmmm...crab legs! just checked website, seafood buffet from 4-10. I would be up for that and meet up
at the Y club afterwards. I believe check in will be going on then as well.

Actually I think the crab legs are Saturday only now, Katie when you looked was it still Friday for the crab legs? If so we should get a group together and hit the crab legs and hit em hard!! What time is everyone going to be up there, Caroline and I are going to be up there by probably 8:00pm or so, we have to leave right from work and hopefully traffic won't be so bad? I'm in for waterver Friday night, I'm going to need a drink after this week at work.

I hope you guys aren't thinking of not hanging at the Y club on Saturday night. I've always enjoyed hanging on Saturday night, catching up, shootin the sh%t etc. It's tough to hold a conversation at the Blue Goose...and that's a bit past my bedtime anyway : ). If you do go, hope you make it back to chill.

Don't get you hopes up too much for the seafood dinner. I've had it before, it was ok, but not what I expected. That was a few years ago though

what is everyone planning on for Friday? i am going to head up Friday night after work so if anything is going on keep me posted. probably going to check out the y club, casino, or wherever else. maybe even a night ride if the wind/conditions are decent.

FIrst a clarification. "black is the color of the shirt" means that the black in the illustration will be replaced by the color of the shirt which will be a blue of some sorts...a bit on the darker side.

I plan to head up Friday. People tend to hang at the Y club till eventually wandering over to the Blue Goose, though a night ride sounds awesome.

FYI, the seafood is a full seafood buffet with crab legs and the full offering both Fridays and Saturdays in March according to the buffet manager.

Unless there is no wind count me in for a night ride also, if no wind then the Casino for Chow on the crab legs.
