:D Thanks Tom that was the perfect launch for a North wind. Only space for about 2 cars though. There was a slight wind shadow near shore which was great for rigging. Just a short walk to the ice.
There were pillows of snow in a row to cruise on and hard pack for speed runs. As I was heading out Seth called and drove over to me from the Island. He had been at the Beach at Wac for an hour. I tried to make it up to Kite Island but it got too fluky in the slot coming out of Wayzata Bay. As I was going up wind Ryan took a down winder to the north side of Big Island. We chatted in the middle on his way back. Made it back and then had Corn Boy and The Professor looking for me with beers in tow...fun day and my quads are shot.

Hey Scott, glad you got some rides at Cottagewood. I have parked there with 4-5 cars parked on the S side of the street. Makes for a longer walk to the lake. Just keep it low key so as not to annoy the neighbors. NNE again today. I might try Excelsior or Crescent this afternoon.

Hi Tom,
Yes, I agree. The nieghbor to north asked how the roads were and then asked me to make sure the space in front of the gate was open. She said she had guest coming later. I never saw them. I think she just wanted to make a point. I have a 3 pm appt. today. So we'll see if I can get out. Enjoy the ride. There should be good snow on the south end of the lake. I can imagine the center of the lake could be patchy with the wind last night. Mookey agrees...
