What's the plan Saturday. Looks strong early on. If it hooks northerly enough I will be at that one place near Mahtomedi.

Went to Turtle Lake today. Super nice and sunny! Turtle works well on a N to NW wind. The beach was empty, and no docks in the water yet, had the lake to myself with a side-onshore wind. For extra bonus there's a shallow sand bar out a couple hundred yards to stop and take a break on (about waist deep). Unfortunately I broke my board leash and couldn't body drag upwind quite far enough (about 5 feet out of reach :x ), so I had to body drag back to shore. That's when the onshore wind comes in handy :D

Wow, what a great day. Got to catch up with all my windsurf buddies at the SWAP, then an afternoon with the kite krew at wildwood! It was fun having John Z. & Jeff G. bringing their west-side vibe over to the east-side pond! Avery,
Chris B, & Kurt put on a nice aerial show. Heck, I was even inspired to do a litlle boosting myself, after watching Dave putting it up there via Yarga power. Hope I can find the strength to do it again tomorrow. :roll:JRN

Great session! Randy, Dave Z and I rode till 630pm (I was supposed to home by then), we had a small peanut gallery form on the shore that up'ed the courage level. Riding with friend increases the fun factor by 50%, for a crowd another 30%, and with waterproof mp3 player another 20%. Dang I had twice the fun today!

totally classic day at Wildwood. SUnny, warm for the time of year (it made it to 55). Lots of east side crew types and others as well. Being the beginning of the season everybody seems to have some new gear, and is pretty stoked. Mike W -- I think we saw you out in the middle of the lake on your 14. Was it you? Thanks as well to Randy L for the ride on the Yarga. What an awesome session.

Yes, I went out of Mahtomedi since the docks are not in yet. Had a great time with Kevin, Terry and Geoff. It looked pretty crowded down in the corner where you guys were.
