You guys are going to convince me to pull my CB16 off of the market. I have a TD214 on the way. I need to compare them back-to-back to see which one has more horsepower.
By the way, I am a believer in waxing skis now. Last night it felt like skiing through glue because I was on a pair of new unwaxed skis. This morning I went back with some wax, and it made a big difference.

I was in uptown last night having drinks with a couple of friends and I saw the trees swaying around at about 11:00 pm. I thought to myself, I bet they're out there getting some nice rides. I haven't been out since Padre. I'm itching to bust out my Sabre once again. Hope to make it out this Saturday, if the surface and winds hold up. And on the subject of foils: aside from what others have mentioned, I think there's a simple elegance to these kites--they are close cousins to parafoils --true flying machines. I love teh way a foil looks turning in the air, delicate and yet powerful, in contrast to the more mechanical brute force of the inflatables. Just wish I could afford a couple more. Donations will be accepted.

I'll think you'll find the T2 14 has more grunt, but is less slippery in the air than the xbow. The draft seems deeper. Seems like all second generation bows went that direction. There will also be a bit more bar pressure on the T2. The Xbow will probably be a better kite on fast snow in light winds, and the T2 probably better in deep snow or water in light winds. The differences will drop as the wind increases.
Will be interested what you think.
