April Women's Kite Clinics in S. Padre

Happy Spring MN Kite Crew and all the ladies!

The gals are heading down to South Padre Island for some warm wind and water to kick start the season! So, if you're heading down, keep in mind that the Womens Kiteboarding Association is putting on two clinics and one SESSION with the crew at South Padre Island Kiteboarding the weekend of April 13th.

Clinic #1: Women's Beginner Trainer Kite Clinic
This clinic will teach the wind window, kite flying and control, safety, and launching & landing.

Clinic #2: Women's Intermediate/Advanced Maneuvers Clinic
Tailored to each student's ability, this course will focus on transitions, carving, ollies and jumps, and if the student is ready -- rolls and grabs.

The Diva Sessions: Not so much a clinic, but a LADIES' SESSION!
Casual meet at North Flats at 11 am or when the wind is blowing! A fun and informal riding session with intermediate and advanced women riders. No formal instruction, but tips and technique will be offered.

Slingshot, North Kiteboarding, Dakine, SPI Kiteboarding, SBC, and WKA are all kicking down decent swag for attendees of the clinics. Laura Maher, Tonia Farman, and the gals from SPI Kiteboarding will be instructing at both clinics.
