It looks like there might be some southeast wind on the east side of the cities in the late afternoon.

I wanted to post this Wed but was unable to until now. Yea, the Experimental hits it on the nose many days. This past Wednesday, Lake Pepin was in the line of fire according to the Exp. The link shows just how good it was. The picture is 2 years old but the conditions were the same.

Twas 5.0 out of the SE for most of the afternoon.

40 or 20?

I've noticed everyone uses the 40km experimental, but the 20km seems to have more detail. It definitely shows a slightly different picture for today.

Anybody have some insight into reasons for using one or the other?
