another windy sunday

Post by davec »

weather.com is saying big winds from the southwest for sunday, its still a ways out to predict but they were right on the money a week out of that nice 90 deg. and windy sunday we had at the start of the season. Lets hope for another good weekend.

It's gonna blow like crazy on Sunday. I know it. Why? Because it's Mother's Day and I'll be tied up to the gills with full on family duty.

Dave Z: even if you DON"T get out on Mothers Day, I can let everyone know you were ripping it up yesterday evening at the Bear with casual duck jibes, push tacks, and all with the rain pelting away. That's actually the first time I ever rigged up in the rain. I don't know what the big wait was....I spend enough time getting wet anyway! It's good to see that things like duck jibes are "no big deal" - just gotta keep trying!

Hey Dave, Saturday is looking very good too. East wind. The big lake or the biggest lake look best (dry). It always blows on swap meet saturday.

Another big day at the Suck Hole???? I see NOAA saying E 15-25 knots for Mother Super. I'd be happy to get in one day this weekend. Fingers crossed!

I meant Mille Lacs. The new AVN shows Massive NNW wind late Saturday and, of course, Sunday. Thurday looks like another suckhole day! The maps are changing dramatically every 12 hrs. There are two massive lows coming. It's gotta blow at least a couple days!
