Anyone Sailing Today?

Post by Mike W »

Is anyone going out? I am on the fence, but leaning toward a lunchtime session on WBL.

Sunday was my cousin's confirmation so no sailing for me - and it was in OWATONNA - Oh the agony! Today is my daughter's birthday. Once again no dice. I'll let everyone know when my next family event is coming up since I'm 0 for 2 and there's been big wind on both occasions!!! :( Sorry for the vent - enjoy the wind and rain.

I don't think I'll get out today, even though the temps look like they might hold in the low 40's - tolerable.

The MOS is showing the potential for some modest SE breeze on Friday. Actually, it's looking almost easterly, more ESE than anything. It should be a great day for some kiting at Bellaire on WBL.

I must be getting old - I'm just not as stoked as I once was to get out sailing when it's this cold and rainy... Maybe I'm just getting wiser.

Oaks are blowing around.

Cold, Wet, Nasty.

Since my wife knows I have less sense than old and wise Coach,
she confiscated my truck before I got up this morning..

Now, if I could just figure a way to lash everything to the motocycle
I'd be good to go :-(

I chickened out too. Temps below 40 with steady rain is not much fun.
