John mentioned that if want anything done to the launch that we are the ones to do it. I want to second that notion. If we all bring a rake and or shovel and spend a few minutes, we could do great things. It also may do good things for our relations with the DNR. So please consider throwing in a rake or shovel on your way out.

Waconia Season Opener! (for me, anyway.)

I will be heading out to the Wac this AM. Bringing shovel,rake,garbage bag for clean-up. Will also bring the h2oproof camera, maybe some helmet cam video today?! At least a few action pics.

I think a bobcat is the right tool. I'm surprised the DNR even lets you use rakes/shovels on the shoreline. They don't in WI. A weed machine for the lake would be nice too. The weeds are 6" from the surface in some spots. Waconia is such a nice lake though!
