went 2 scope the H2O @ Ramsey at 4:30 yesterday to witness Pete planing up on his new 9.0 V8 & carve 135...Was I shocked & awed? Maybe envious anyway...Not to be outdone went back today and got some rides in the bay past the yacht club. Was planing in the gusts on my 7.8 vx2 & 298 Veloce...Yowsaaaa!!! LET THE SEASON BEGIN!!!Signed, Stoked in the Saintly City. :D 8) :lol: :roll: :!:

I'm really surprised at that. Late Wed. night all the launches looked to be mostly choked with ice.. must have been moving around with the wind. Is it open now?

The lake cam is showing Mahtomedi area about 50% open now, should totally open up sometime in the next day or so.
