12 inches, winds at 15-25, and plenty of bean fields makes for the best snow day we’ve had down south. Looks like winter finally has come to Iowa, 2 weeks after the water season began. And after Daylight Savings giving us that extra hour after work we needed oh so much. Looks like we’ll be back on the water tomorrow or at least Thursday, although this storm dropped the water temp 10+ degrees. Should warm up fairly quick as it looks like 70s this weekend.

typical iowa weather, i got my first day on a snowboard with the kite after the ice went out and i had already been out on the water... doesn't padre sound really good right about now....
