There's nothin' better than the first sail in your back yard. So far this year, I've sailed Maui, Spirit Lake and Pepin, and I know I shouldn't compare, but I really can't say I found a greater sense of "completeness" any place more than that body of water that's given me more sailing time than any other (White Bear Lake excluded).
I think I'm looking forward to my WBL opener just as much. Maybe I'll see some of you out there this afternoon.
Hey Randy - is Forest Lake completely open? It is clearly much shallower than WBL and prone to open sooner, obviously.
Any chance you'd mind a little company this afternoon? Since it's supposed to be SW, WBL won't exactly work today. The drive to Wac is just too far for a post-work sesh...
