PUERTO VALLARTA
I have just gotten back from Mexico and the Palace Resort where I had stayed was perfect for kiting, only catch is it was an onshore wind. The wind came up every morning at around 11:30 like clockwork every day, and it was a constant 13 to 18! The beach was very wide and the water was cool but once you were in it it was warm. Not a whole lot of people on the beach so no crowds. I did not bring my gear this trip I wanted to spend some quality time with my wife, but there were a handful of people on the beach kiting, nobody rents equipment but I was offered to use some but declined, pretty raggedy stuff, not safe, kinda scary actually. You could take a taxi to just about any part of the coast and kite, waves and then calm huge swells, paradise!
