Looking at the 10 day MRF it looks like we may get wind everyday this week. Wish we had better snow.

waconia is perfect for speed runs there is huge area of untracked fast white stuff

Its looking really good this week, and the best part is its final week. So im out at 10:30 everyday, the downside is that I actually have to do some studying.

I even found some optomistic reports for tommarow. 10-20, but then I also found a lot of not so good ones.

Great day on waconia today.

I was amazed at how many poeple showed up 7 kites in the air and no one forecacted any wind. but there was about an hour of wind that I was having trouble holding in my 20m
Jeff and Jerry were on boards and holding their edges just fine. I tried the snowboard for a litle while but switched back to skis prity fast.

I second that..thanks Jon. flew my new 20 for he first time and it was great cruising in such light wind. had some relaunch troubles....thanks Jerry and Jon for your help getting me going again. ended the day with about a three mile reach, a little too far downwind. took forever to get back because the wind died. boy I'm a slow learner.

I mised my landing pad by about 20 feet

BTW someone needs to teach me the ride by kite launch... do you grab the trailing edge? I kept going for the leading edge and falling over

Stroh, grab a handful of canopy on the trailing edge near the center strut as you go by.

Where are people headed tomorrow? Looks promising.

If I have time in betwen classes I will be headed to waconia for some frikin sweet conditions otherwise it's calhoon for me
