Anyone up for Mille Lacs tomorrow?

Post by Kevinousdigian »

I'm considering Malmo or Hunters Point tomorrow morning. Post if your going or call my cell 763-218-8154. Sid are you up there?
I've never tried Malmo on straight west because usually the wind may be clocking to NW so I end up at Hunters. Tomorrow looks west until mid afternoon and then it may go just north of west.

With all the wind forecasted I'm surprised the temps aren't cooling down a lot. The dewpoint is dropping a lot so maybe the air mass is just really dry...

I might head up. Malmo is kind of choppy and the swell is small (shallow) on west. I like Izayty's (the middle of the lake).

I talked my wife into bringing the kids up for an adventure. Malmo is the only family friendly spot, so I will be there regardless of wind direction. 9-21m kites are locked and loaded.

I'm heading up and hope to get there 11 or a little after. The wind looks to shift a little n of w by 4 and I need to be off the water by 3:30. I will either be at Hunters or join Mike at Malmo.

I'm working today. I'd stick with Hunter's for windsurfing if you are looking for bigger swell. Malmo will work also.
