Thanks for giving us the link. Their photographer is great! Eric, you've got to get one of those wide angle lenses. It'll make all our tricks THAT MUCH BETTER.

I did a google search and found a Russian site with an article. Maybe Gene Reshanov can translate, if he is still around.

Boy I'd love to get some real glass to do some of those pictures but I'm only able to have a small digital camera. That's why most of my pictures are of just regular stuff:

someone putting on their board

the redbull tent

bland white snow

a snowboard

my boot

It's really hard to convey motion with such a small lens. On the other hand, no one cares to look at the details of what it's like to kitesnowboard. I'd rather try to tell a story with pictures like this:

http://www.downhaul.com/kites/030215/im ... 010034.jpg

...than regurgitate fish-eye shots.

If I had money and time, I'd shoot the same shots as everyone else does. I'd problably be the worst at it because I don't know (care) what I'm doing...

Thanks!

Eric,

Keep the pictures coming...personally I don't care what they look like either...it is just nice of you to put them out there so we all know/see what is going on.

Everyone's conversation and pics are part of what makes lakawa and kiting so much fun!
