Stroh might be crazy!

Post by manolo »

Stroh called me this morning and asked me to go look at Spring and Prior Lake to see if there is enough open water for him to bring out the wakeboard. Yeah and he only has a 3mm wetsuit. Their are two waterskiers who get out on prior lake before anyone else and usually are in the Prior Lake american newspaper. I am assuming that Jon is trying to be that person this year.

Ride on

that's some serious juice in dem veins. Try to hook up though in case something happens. You don't want to be in the water for any extended period of time right now without a drysuit.

enjoy

I'm thinking about standing on a piece of styrofoam with a copule broom handles and a bed sheet - not kiting.

I'm not familiar with those lakes - where exactly are you going this afternoon (lake and launch)?

I might try to sneak out of work.

Thanks,

Scott I've been meaning to contact you.

I'm gonna have some clinics in May or Early June and was hoping I could maybe pay you to be Jetski support.

Also I was thinking it would be great to get some video footage from a jetski. For show, but also as a technique improvement tool. We could all meet at the lake (as we always do) ride and get some good footage, then maybe hook up for a BBQ and critique eachother. I know everytime I see myself in video I realize something I'm doing wrong or how much I need to do more sit ups. : )

I'll give you a call when I get back from Padre.

No problem Tighe, but you don't have to pay me at all, being out there is fun for me and worth it!! I think it's a great idea especially the video deal getting footage, I have taken alot of digital photo's from the ski and it's really nice and stable, plus there is enough room to store it when it's not being used in a watertight compartment right in front of you in the glove box. I need to get out and use it for kiteboarding anyway, it's one of the main reasons I bought it to begin with, I need to get a good technique down for water support. It's also nice in the aspect of I am able to take two more boards with me at the same time so lets say you go out with the one on your feet I can take two more with so if you wanted to try out another board you wouldn't have to go back to shore to get it. I had a 12v plug installed in the glove box right in front of me too so if you have a camera that has low batteries you can plug it in directly and I use it to blow up tubes too. I have done that at hatteras when I took lessons there, put two kites right next to you and strapped two boards on the racks and were set for the day!

So just let me know when you want to get out and I'm all for it, and please I don't charge for the use of it, it's all good it's just nice to be able to give back for all the advice I have gotten from you and everyone else!
