Damn people, how many times do we have to go over this...

Don't *talk* about the snow and wind before it gets here. You'll jinx it!!!

yeah I got lots of yard work to do, like putting the shovels away and washing windows way up high on a ladder. Definately need to do that over the next few days.

I just put he battery back in the boat. I was thinking about hitting the river for some wakeboarding!
Sure hope we DON'T get a storm total of 8 to 12 inches with 10 to 20 MPH winds and highs around 30.

Unfortunatly, I won't be able to make it to Coach's BBQ.

I will be busy sharpening my lawn mower blades, putting the screens back on and fixing a couple holes in my roof. Well......I guess the roof repair can wait until Sunday.

Chuck

PS. I just got done washing my truck. It will be nice to have it looking good through this weekend.

Both the ETA and NGM models show most of the snow going south now. I don't know how accurate those models are for forecasting snow but...

Ok, I know we all love the NOAA experimental for wind but has anyone messed with it for snow? Doesn't look too bad:

Based on this model it doesn't look like this system is going the miss us.

Here's a better link that's more focused on MN:

I'm gonna tune up my road bike and wash my car tonight

Yup, I like those maps better. Pretty close to AVN:

All south though. I don't think Mille Lacs will get a flake!

thanks dave.
that has to be the coolest set of images I've seen in a while. It would be great if they would animate it.

I'm heading out to seed the lawn.

Getting back to the site after a couple of days away I have been sitting here giggling reading this thread, the humour is just as sarcastic as the thread for "slingshot babe"
Does sick humour go hand in hand with wind obsession, reaching a peak when you haven't got to ride for a little while, or is it just lurking under the surface waiting for a cause?.
Thanks for the giggles!.
