Red Sand lake near Brainerd, 3 inches of clear ice, earliest start ever. (for me anyway)

The warm weather and little bit of rain got rid of the snow on Red Sand and Rice Lake. The ice is smooth, but stay south of the island on Rice to avoid the Mississippi flow. I may check out Round lake if the snow holds off Wednesday night.
