Where's the conversation?

Post by MK »

This website was built in 2002. Pre Go-Daddy, and before the social sites like Facebook took over the gravity of conversations. You will find a healthy amount of conversations still happening in a variety of both public and private social pages like https://www.facebook.com/lakawamn/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/222288911116157/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/17262937247/ and even a beginners group https://www.facebook.com/groups/482373385600725/

You won't need to access those sites if you don't have/want Facebook but know this is where the lions' portion of conversations are. Instagram and the other social sites have abundant options as well.

The quality of the conversation isn't always as robust as it once was but at times you'll find them to be adequate. For your own comparison feel free to mine through Chat (in here) and discover profound inclusion of (dated) detail on rides, locations, gear and the rest of what kiting entails. However, good conversations to be had along with better social sharing features have evolved.

There appears to be somewhat of a cycle in gear and fashion. I'm going to hold on to this Chat room in the event we end up with land lines again and grow tired of our data being mined.

Thanks Mike!

It's nice to have this forum up for reference. There is lots of knowledge on spots we still use, and older gear that we sometimes need info on. Again, thanks for keeping this up!
