ON my way West yesterday on INST-90, thinking of going to Fairmont. I changed my mind and kept going
until I got 6 miles East of Worthington, and sailed on East launch on Round Lake. Wow,,,good 23-25 steady on shore wind.
I rig 5.5 Ezzy Tiger and use 103 F2 yellow board.
Sailed very happy for one hour (nice rolling waves to ride on) but, for no reason at all wind increased to a steady 33 mph and holding gusts (like 20 seconds) at 42 mph.
That was it! I had to come in.

What's in your quiver (or quiver of sailing stories)?

Quetzalcoatl out.
