Other lakes won't get wind,..Clear Lake, IA will!

Post by Quetzalcoatl »

Here we go again....Most lakes (if any) except one, won't get wind this weekend. I don't know why but it's

important to decry...that Clear Lake, Iowa WILL have 14 mph wind (with some higher gusts) on both Sat. and Sunday.

If you have big kites or big windsurf sails you WILL plane all day on Clear Lake, (in Clear Lake Iowa).

I don't why Clear Lake is so Choppy. It's really annoying. But if there's wind on Clear Lake (and there will be) I guess choppy water is something to

accept or absorb for Plannable wind.

So, if you want to be planning on your kiteboard or windsurf board,,,see ya in Iowa! Or you could teach new sailors with the "light air" conditions in Minnesota, "That would be nice!"
