I think it’s a great kite too. I decided to fly me 14mT3 yesterday instead of my Octane because it seemed very gusty and the wind direction was poor for the Bear but Chad rode his 13 Octane, he was going huge and said it handled the gusts great.

The water is still very cold and the wind on the Mahtomedi side will not be good. It may be a good idea to try Mille Lacs first as it's a much more forgiving lake to work ...

I have not flown a 15m Octane but I do own a 13m and your welcome to demo it if you see me out on WBL. I have flown both Revs and T3s and I think the Octane may be somewhere between the two in flying characteristics. The 13 can’t replace the low end range of my 14m T3 but maybe the 15m could?
