"So where can I buy board padding? Instead of sandpapering the rough surface, I want to put pads on both sides of boards."
Look again. They sell Traction padding in different thicknesses. One in the same Eric. Call them.....

Re: Where to get board pads?? Who sells it now? any shops?
https://northshoreinc.com/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=139 Eric, I have some at my house. You can check it out to see if it is what you want. It can either be self stick or glue on. They sell it in different thicknesses. Not sure how well the self stick holds but the glue on is bomb proof ...

Re: Cleaned the fin off my board...
The Spoon board looks great on its own rack in the garage. Have yet to ride it. Going to need some real wind to put that into the sky! Bic Techno...aka...Fat Ass has too much surface area to accommodate the harness trick. I have used that trick previously on a narrower board and it did work great. L...

Cleaned the fin off my board...
Saw the debris a second too late, no time get the tail out of the water. Just a branch appearing to be the size of an adult forearm in diameter. It won the wrestling match in a split second as I flew over the handlebars. Solid impact...my one and only fin for the Bic Techno was laid to rest in front...

Many vids online covering this. Jen Hall carve jibe: https://vimeo.com/92527705 Big board jibe: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1cIfarz8Amw So many details. Personally, I like to just ‘throw’ the sail, at the appropriate time, and focus on the board. The sail comes around and lands in both hands most ...

Re: Mississippi Tuesday
Well, it wasn’t as strong as forecasted. I was on a 4.8 (in low wind setting) and the my larger glass board. It was good in the gusts but there were some holes and lulls. A few bits of debris, not an issue but one stick cleaned me off my board. I only discovered hours later that this had shoved my f...

Mississippi Tuesday
For anyone who has not experienced the swell rolling down Lake Pepin on a northwest wind, tomorrow is a great day to find out what you’ve been missing. The Point in Lake City is the spot. If you’re worried about a breakdown, you can ride in the bay. Same steam rollers chugging down the pipe. My eta ...

I didn't sail on Monday. I did sail on Tuesday, The Point, Lake Pepin. Powered up on both 5.8/105 ltr. Screamer and 7.0/Bic Techno. Wind was up and down. Some nice ramps. Good time!

Re: Quetzalcoatl is getting ready to say something.......
What!!! That was an awesome day, although it was a bit cold. I think you are exaggerating a bit though. It was only gusting to 45. In order to break out of your 35mph threshold you need to get on 'one' of your smaller boards. I suspect you have a few? Windsurfing life takes a glorious turn when you ...
