I was on Mille Lacs with Twin Cities Live KARE11 last Tuesday. The surface was 50% covered. As it would have it with winds and media it was quite light. Four of us were all over Medicine lake from 3-6pm. I asked the few fisherman there and they all said easily 6"+. Well stated about ice safety and thanks for the report. A smooth layer about 1-2" of snow covers 98% of Medicine lake. Great for skates, switchblade, or skis. Wonderful riding i...
