Re: Duluth Wed

The links on the wind page of this site work for 24hr and 72 hr Experimental. Those are all you really need. 1800 is noon. Ikitesurf gives a rough picture of things to come, but is not nearly as accurate. The 10 day MRF is the best long-range tool, but it is harder to read.

Re: Duluth Wed

I am pretty wiped out, so I will keep it short. 10m kite all afternoon. Waves in the 4-5 ft. range. A windsurfer at Tot Lot was rigging down from 5.5 when I drove by, which gave me an accurate sense of what kite to rig. I had 22nd St. all to myself. 2 kites were going out at Tot when I left. Water w...

Duluth Wed

Anyone heading up? Looks like a good day up there. Nearshore forecast does not call for much, but check out the experimental. Hourly readings at Sky Harbor are solid already.

Welcome back, Eric! We missed your smiling face and good cheer. My wife still rides your Starboard Go once in a while, although not this summer so far as she gave birth to our 4th in May. Can't wait to run into you. I still manage to get out almost every rideable day.

It is you! Too funny-- I had not seen the end. You must be a millionaire by now with your long hours and exorbitant salary. Can we expect to see you on h20 (other than puddles) any time this spring?

Re: Cannon

Eric, I will be down there around then and Kevin may come too. You can drift launch from a spot in the NW corner of the lake. Go past the bridge headed west. Just before the first house on the lake past the bridge, there is an opening on the side of the road that is wide enough for kites. A few guys...

Pete, where are you standing in the most recent photo? That looks like a good drift launch spot.

Re: So.... are we SOL now?

Kurt and I another guy on a foil had a pretty nice session on skis and boards today on WBL. 90% snow cover, a bit of slush for an underlayer, but I think that will be firmed up for Monday. Skate season is over for now, so get out there with skis before the heat wave comes again!

Scott, I might be persuaded to sell mine. It is a 2010 with one small patch on the canopy. Shoot me an email if you want to discuss price. Thanks. winter.mike at ymail.com
