I remember going out the day after the Halloween blizzard in 1991, climbing over three foot snowbanks just to have a little sail on Calhoun. Passersby were obviously concerned about my sense of judgement as I carried my gear, stumbling through the drifts, trying to get to the water. Sick!

There is a large campground on the west side of Spirit, hot showers and everything, its right on the road running along that side of the lake, you cant miss it. Some of the sites are literally 10 feet from the water.
