Looks like 12-24 knots from the west tomorrow afternoon. That should make for a great Mahtomedi day. Unfortunately, I'm probably going to be at a Gopher's basketball game... Never should have agreed to go - guess I made the sacrifice for you guys...

No snow in front of the yacht club, Mike? I thought I saw some there... oh well... Mahtomedi won't work so good on a SW. But, it's supposed to be WSW on Saturday, making it more doable.

I've flown it since, and I'm pretty sure the core will hold up. It's definitely nicer to not have to replace the whole line.

I managed to get my B5 kite in a weird tangle, while still being flyable at the same time. Last year, when it was still black ice down by Mahtomedi on WBL, Joe L was on a B5 and I was on a 5m AR3.5 Naish. Joe was going 5-10+ faster than me on the foil - I would guess he was hitting 60-70+, no problem... Joe? What do you think? Have you gone faster than today? I'm guessing by quite a bit.....
