I've been using my 5th line as a safety, but have it connected to the spinning leash arrangement on my (newly-acquired) surefire spreader.
So far it hasn't tangled. Do you think it would have worked in your situation? J.N.

Maybe someone like the Nat'l Geoglogical Survey, would enable us to scope out which lakes lie at a favorable elevation to make for non-sheltered wind sites.
