Greg, make sure you run around introducing yourself to every one. Don't be shy.
I hope you have a fun time.

Re: Fabulous February

Used to do that with our mutt Lela, she loved it and then one day she got too close and got a nasty cut on one of her legs from the edge of the board, actually damaged a tendon. So that was that. Lela's heritage includes an instinct to tree animals, nothing makes her happier. One of my favourite mem...

Re: KNIVES & FRIENDS!

I'm not sure if my tweezers are left or right handed. I do know I'm having to use reading glasses with a much higher magnification to find anything these days. Joking aside, very happy you're OK, that would have sucked. I remember when Nate P lost the tip of his thumb to that tow rope wakeboarding. ...

Re: Brian Sherry's Band at Biffs this friday night

There's so many musicians that are on lakawa I think we have to plan a huge jam for one of these events one of these days. Maybe the late spring gathering. After all that's how the unvarnished music got added to the WOW regatta weekend , started with a camp fire jam and look what that weekends turne...

Re: KNIVES & FRIENDS!

So happy you got away with it. Kudos to the guys for rushing to help.
Nasty experience.

The lesson in my mind is not so much about the location of the knife, but keeping your hands where they should be in power situations.
But who gives a crap about the lessons we learn, I'm delighted you're OK.

Lovely to see so many people at Trollhaugen last night. Thanks everyone for making the Trek into the frozen wastelands.

I hope you all got a good nights rest, heaven knows a lot of us were up past our bedtimes. 8)

As Graham says most of us use a 3/2 mm from June until you can get into a shorty typically a 2/1 or 1mm Wetsuits these days are so good and there's so many choices. Graham mentioned Hyperflex and I have to confess I'm the Hyperflex rep. One of the nice things about these guys is they're actually des...

Re: Dinner with Michelle Dickinson. Feb 19th 6.30pm

I'd love to do it , our singers ( a married couple ) have a two year old which makes it hard for them to do a gig where they'll have to stay overnight. They have to pay for a babysitter to travel. Now if Mike could cover their costs...who knows. Awesome to hear you have a crew coming Kate....stoked....

It's kind of irritating actually. Now when you're experts you'll have to pass on the knowledge and help some struggling beginner you...

Re: GR8 DAY ON D'BEAR!

Had a nice day teaching on Cedar Lake. Tough to beat sunshine, steady breezes and nice snow. Nancy got out for her first time today, she's been so busy training for the Birkie that she hasn't had time to kite. This'll be her 20th Birkie, she gets to become a member of the elite " Birch Leggings...
